Our Story:

Walnut Hall Farm was established in 1892 to breed Standardbred horses.  Over its more than 100 years of history, it has enjoyed great success in breeding successful Standardbred sires and broodmares.  The farm has remained in the same family over the years, and the current generation of owners continue to run their own Standarbred breeding businesses.

But Walnut Hall is not just about horses.  Since the very beginning, Walnut Hall has hosted a beef cattle herd.  In the early days, the beef cattle were joined by dairy cattle as well as pigs and sheep.  While the dairy herd is gone (as are the pigs and sheep), the beef cattle remain.  They are organized into three separate herds – Angus, registered Charolais, and Angus-Charolais cross.

Over the years, our family and friends have enjoyed beef raised on Walnut Hall’s rich bluegrass pastures, and now we’re proud to offer our beef for sale to the public.  We think Walnut Hall Beef is the finest in America (and possibly the world).  We are confident you’ll agree.
